Job Description:

This Integration Engineer is responsible delivering integration application solution by developing application and leading our offshore development team to convert business requirements into technical specifications for team to adhere to for development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage time with regards to project deadlines as well as ad hoc requests.
  • Defines and resolves problems related to the platform, hardware, software and communication protocols.
  • Provide guidance/direction for the timely delivery of all project deliverables, e.g. technical designs, final code review and creation of CR’s for deployment.
  • Perform periodic code reviews throughout the project lifecycle to ensure Atlas Middleware standards are being adhered to throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Work with the product vendors (ex. IBM) to resolve Product-related issues.
  • Integrate data between operational systems and business reporting tools.
  • Gather business requirements based on process analysis and user interviews to develop application specifications.
  • Validate that all delivered code meets projects objectives via reviewing completed test case results and periodic smoke testing.
  • Provide technical strategy for systems integration.
  • Responsible for the design, development, testing and documenting portal based enterprise applications.
  • Developing, supporting and integrating a variety of financial and airline operations systems.
  • Ability to fully comprehend the integration platform and its footprint in the multiple business domains.
  • Follow the best practices for SDLC for integration application development and ensuring that the same is implemented correctly by the development team.
  • A strong understanding and knowledge of Micro-service architecture, application containerization, Cloud based deployment for an iPAAS solution.
  • Responsible of the management of the day to day activities of multiple offshore development resources.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of at least one Webserver like Apache HTTP or IHS server and its integration with IBM BPM.
  • 5+ years professional experience with IBM Websphere, BAW and Application Server technologies (Certification a plus)
  • 4+ years’ experience with JAVA/J2EE, JSR 168/286 Portlets, JSPs and Servlets and J2EE Web Services
  • Good general knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for IBM BPM.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education, strongly preferred
  • Master’s degree is computer science preferred
  • Experience with the full software life cycle.
  • The proven ability to build code that conforms to a specified architecture, can be easily reused and well understood by other developers is essential.
  • Troubleshooting IBM BPM Issues.
  • IBM BPM Installation, Configuration, Support and Troubleshooting including Process Server and Deployment manager.
  • Ability to QA and document one’s own code is essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Production Support Skills for the IBM BPM Environment.
  • WebSphere Administration.
