Job Description:

The Municipal Courts Department, Judicial Operations Division, has an exciting and rewarding opportunity available for you to bring your passion and vibrant resilience to our team of Court Reporters. If you are a self-motivator, then you could be the ideal candidate we are seeking in addition to possessing superior interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. You will serve as the official recorder and records custodian for trials and appeals under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Courts Department. As an official of the Court, your job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Job Responsibilities:

The position requires sitting for extended periods of time during trial transcription, stooping or bending with transcribing equipment.

**Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants provided such persons possess the qualifications necessary for competent discharge of the duties involved in the position applied for, such persons are among the most qualified candidates for the position, and all other factors in accordance with Executive Order 1-6.**
