Job Responsibilities:
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: General Experience GS-04: Applicants must have one year of general experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-03 level in the Federal Service. Examples of experience includes Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular competencies needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. This may be paid or non-paid experience. OR Two (2) years above high school in any field, in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. Specialized Experience GS-05: At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) in the Federal government. Examples of qualifying experience include experience performing a variety of miscellaneous tasks involving researching and processing financial documents, reviewing information and determining corrective action on accounts, researching for missing/unclear accounting information and reviewing financial documents submitted for completeness. OR Four (4) years above high school in any field, in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis.
