Serves as a Program Manager supporting the Director for the Communications and Operations Office in the Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD), Communications and Operating Office at NASA Headquarters responsible for the development and implementation of strategic communication strategies and products in achieving effective, efficient, and substantive communication initiatives to align with STMD reaching external audiences and stakeholders in support of the agency’s mission and objectives.

Job Requirements:

You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above. To qualify for the GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level that includes executing and implementation of action plans, communications and reports; preparing organization communications products; development of written products for media, web and formal presentations, applying analytical ability, judgment, discretion of administrative or program principles, concepts, policies, and objectives applicable to a program or administrative area; and implementing solutions to resolve substantive problems of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level includes leadership or management in planning and executing significant action plans, communications and reports; preparing presentations and organization communications; development of written products for media, web and formal presentations, applying analytical ability, judgment, discretion of administrative or program principles, concepts, policies, and objectives applicable to a program or administrative area; and determining solutions to resolve substantive problems of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations.
