Job Description:

We are looking to receive Expressions of Interest to support the expansion of our aerospace design, certification, manufacturing, installation and testing lines of business over the next 24 months – this initial dialogue to the market is referred to as CD-EOI-1.  The planned increase in capacity will focus on narrow body CS25 and CS23 flight test aircraft and ISR platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Aero Structures – covering static, fatigue, damage tolerance, aero-elastics and decompression.
• Weight and Balance.
• Development, management and execution of trials activity.
• Hydro-mechanical system – landing gear highly desirable.
• Fiber Optics.
• Cabin safety.
• Flight Test of large aircraft including FTI installation and use, auto-flight, flight envelope and stability.
• Environmental Characteristics including noise and emissions.
• Electrical generation and distribution.
• Power generation – APU and generator control highly desirable.
• Aerodynamics and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
• Icing analysis and ice protection systems.
• Environmental Control Systems – including cabin conditioning systems, pressurization, oxygen and bleed air.
• Liquid cooling system for large electronics.
• Equipment qualification – including DO160/ED-14G, MIL-STD-810.
• Lightning direct and indirect.
• Human Machine Interface (HMI) development, testing and acceptance.
• Development of operational procedures relating to types described.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in either Developmental or Operational Test and Evaluation.
• Ability to manage own workload and deliver in accordance with agreed timelines.
• Ability to communicate concisely and accurately in written technical reports to a high standard of presentation;
• Extensive experience within an aviation environment with demonstrable competence in one of the above fields.
• The ideal candidates for all roles will be those that take pride in their work and always deliver to a high standard.
• Ability to communicate concisely and accurately relating to project requirements and other project interfaces
• Direct role experience.
• Ability to manage own workload and deliver in accordance with agreed timelines.
• Excellent software skills (AutoCAD skills for electrical engineers, Solidworks skills for mechanical engineers) as appropriate to discipline.
