Job Description:

Under the direction of a Manager I, the incumbent processes and responds to requests for vehicle and vessel, and driver license information received from various internal and external customers via telephone, teletype, fax, e-mail, mail, etc.; reviews requests to determine if reasons given for release of information satisfy established criteria, laws, and rules; completes requests by retrieving computer-stored data and/or scanned documents from the department’s records; handles sensitive and confidential documents; collects appropriate fees and accountable for currency and/or monies collected; and performs other duties that may be required within the scope of the classification.
