Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and provide advisory services to all Program Office officials for all office service functions for the Office which includes a variety of diverse services, including forms management, records managements, mail systems telephone services, equipment servicing, and duplicating services, correspondence control, procurement of office supplies and equipment and maintenance of work areas.
  • Work in conjunction with other staff to determine the need for and initiate actions requisitions, requests recommendations to acquire and adjust resources (i.e.) staff, space equipment, supplies services consistent with requirements for productivity, efficiency, and economy.
  • Provide proactive assistance by facilitating Conflict Resolution, Mediation, Hostile Work Environment Investigations, Teambuilding; and conducting research of Federal Labor Relations Authority statutes and decisions and other case precedent to advise management on a wide range of labor relations issues. Work with HUD’s Attorney representatives in preparation for third-party cases to include appeals and arbitration hearings.
  • Perform on-going evaluations of various components of PIH’s HQ and field organizations nationwide resulting in improvement recommendations for operating efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare oral and written reports and presentation; prepare graphs and charts that presents clear, concise, and effective analytical results of evaluations and studies performed; provide staff support for formal presentations.

Job Requirements:

  • Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
  • Performing analytical studies and projects;
  • Conducting studies and recommending changes or improvements in administrative policies and regulations;
  • Developing new or modifying program policies, regulations, goals or objectives;
  • Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.
  • One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
