Job Description:

As a Senior Risk Analyst, you will facilitate regular risk reviews at the project level. To be responsible for all day-to-day management of the Active Risk Manager (ARM) risk database and quantitative risk modelling (cost and schedule) in relation to the assigned project scope, including data integrity contained therein. You will produce detailed project risk reports as required within the reporting cycle as well as taking an active role in the continuous improvement of the risk management function. To support the Delivery Team and the Senior Risk Analyst, you will ensure that all program team members comply with the Risk Management Plan and other ancillary risk-related procedures and satisfying the risk management requirements for the assigned scope of work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to Delivery Management Team with respect to quantitative analysis, reporting and project level risks providing timely information about the status of the risk management and any risk / gaps along with recommendations to resolve.
  • Supports risk owners to determine appropriate risk avoidance and mitigation strategies along with contingency plans-
  • Reporting to Program Risk Manager and responsible for the delivery of risk management across the assigned project(s) within a program without limit on an individual project budget value or complexity rating.
  • Supports the continuous improvement of the risk management process drawing on previous experience, industry best practice and in partnership with enterprise risk management as applicable
  • Complete ongoing environmental scans to ensure that CPG risk management principles are aligned with enterprise risk management and industry best practice
  • Identifies project risks via leading and facilitating workshops with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders (e.g. other project controls, engineers and project managers)

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrable skilled experience of successfully managing competing objectives of stakeholders and recognizing materiality.
  • Articulate with practiced presentation, attention to detail, excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.
  • MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Skilled in risk management theory, principles and practice.
  • Demonstrable skilled experience using industry standard software packages and applications – Active Risk Manager (ARM), Primavera Risk Analyser (PRA), @Risk
  • Understanding of broader project controls theory, principles and practice.
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Analytics, Engineering, Construction Management) or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent
  • 4 years’ experience in a risk management related role preferably in a civil infrastructure, construction project environment
  • Working towards or holding a relevant risk management qualification or certification from a recognized Institution
