Job Description:

This is a real opportunity to take full ownership of L&D delivery, put your stamp on it by modernising the process and ensuring best practice to support the organisation’s L&D goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting learning return on investment
  • Working collaboratively, supporting overall learning and development activity, managing the prioritisation process for training needs and translating these into training plans
  • Leveraging learning technologies, best practice and modern ways of thinking to develop creative strategies that will effectively scale for a nationally dispersed workforce, driven by the individual and their needs
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, giving advice to HR Business Partners and central admin staff as required
  • Leading a team of L&D advisors as required
  • Developing and driving the adoption of a Leadership Capability Framework
  • Running and delivering the ‘Lead First’ programme, and sourcing and managing a new middle managers’ programme
  • Selecting and managing external suppliers, regularly reviewing the overall content and quality of supplier service offerings

Job Requirements:

Your extensive L&D delivery experience within a multi-site organisation will enable you to quickly identify how to modernise and optimise the L&D process. Having designed and implemented leadership training, you understand how to work collaboratively to create a centre-of-excellence approach. Your effective planning and organisations skills, combined with the ability to juggle multiple projects, enables you to influence, motivate and empower others to reach organisational goals. Lastly, CIPD and/or relevant L&D or coaching qualification (desirable)
